Welcome to the Into-Stone Community Web Site.
Stoke Radio came to town
On Wednesday the 17th BBC Radio
Stoke visited our beloved town setting up shop in Bar 40. The show
was Hosted by Kevin Fernihough (pictured below). Kevin is one of
Staffordshire and Cheshire's best known presenters. He has had considerable
experience in both commercial and BBC local stations. He's joining
BBC Radio Stoke from BBC Radio Cumbria. The team from into-stone
were lucky enough to be invited onto the show to outline some of
the many features of our very own community website.

The site has been hailed as a great success
by all at Radio Stoke. Dec Brennan reviewed the site on the Mark
Jones Drive time show on Tuesday The 16th, He Commented

participate in the community web site and Into-Stone actively encourages

will be considered - we cannot stress enough this is a community web site,
built for the community, by the community.
The all important content is now fully published
to the web and over the next few days we'll be taking the chance to let
businesses check over the site before the launch to the General Public
- although all available functions and sections are working as they should
so please give them a thorough test.
When all the businesses and sponsors are completely
happy that all information is correct and the site meets their approval
and I'm happy that all technical requirements are met, which is hard to
do well without this type of 'soft launch', we'll be giving the site a
passionate and sustained push, as we are determined to make the site serve
the community as it should. This can only happen when we get a loyal and
enthusiastic reader base that are willing to contribute,
not just to the forums but to the design
and content of the site itself.
Then we can look forward to a long and exciting
future on the World Wide Web, and whatever comes after!
